Billionaire John Paul Getty said it best when he stated, “I would rather leverage the efforts of other people than my own. I can accomplish more in less time, and earn 1% on the efforts of 100 people than 100% of my own efforts.”
Wouldn’t it be nice to work less hours and spend more time doing the things you like to do and get paid while you do it?
Don’t think you should consider hiring outside your own country? Never thought about it? Big companies do it even though it is actually frowned upon a bit by many. The truth is if we take Getty’s concept and apply it to our own business, we can do more of what we have to do creatively to grow our business and still be sane enough to balance being a good husband, father, mother, or daughter, etc.
Many people today are nearly losing their minds because they don’t have enough time. Strong time management skills win in a world that gives us more access to keep pace with how rapidly the scope of business and technology is advancing. The trouble is, we don’t have time to sit and learn how to obtain the knowledge we need to really make a business profitable! Until now.
My eyes completely opened to the idea because I always have a strong desire to build my business. My busy lifestyle of traveling, working out, catching up on home life, etc. wouldn’t permit me to spend an additional 70 hour work week developing a business. My wife would probably say “Goodbye, honey. We never see you as it is.”
Why would I want to work my entire life building something that will only drain my bank account? The whole purpose to developing a business is to free yourself from the shackles of building someone else’s dream.
Many think India is the only source. NO, it isn’t! Many people go to E-Lance. Though it is a good resource, it is not the best. Why? When using E-lance, you are merely contracting people for one job and more than likely will never utilize their expertise again. There is a place in your business for E-lance, but it is not how to run your business efficiently. This is not to bash E-lance nation.
Okay, so you ask where do we turn? The Philippines! Why here? Here is a quick run down regarding why to explore this area for your outsourcing needs. For the most part, people from the Philippines:
- Love America and Americans
- Speak American English
- Loyal
- Intelligent
- Honest
- Computer/Internet gurus
- Hardworking
- Hard to find jobs in Philippines
- Not entrepreneurial
Many people feel like this is a terrible way to treat people. Understand that paying people $350 American dollars is actually helping these people!
